CROOKS is a Multi Gaming Clan, consisting of mostly mature, politically incorrect individuals with irregular gaming schedules and IRL jobs. We’re not on 24/7, we don’t stick to 1 game, and we don’t have a million rules. If you’re looking for a laid back clan that plays a variety of games, you might have come to the right place. We have a few basic requirements and rules, which you can find in the tabs below.
You must be over 18 at the very least. We’re all pretty old school, with some of our members borderline qualifying for carbon dating.
No snowflakes. You need to be able to take a joke. If you’re easily offended by words, you should definitely look elsewhere. This is not a “safe space”, and we don’t have time for any sort of drama.
No cheaters & script kiddies. We play for fun. We do get competitive, but never to the point where cheating is an option. You need to have a valid Steam account.
Have a working mic. We use Discord as our primary means of communication in-game. If you want to play in group, you need to be in the appropriate voice channel.
First and foremost: no cheating. If you get caught cheating in any multiplayer game, you will get booted from the clan.
Treat others the way you want to be treated, especially the opposition. Shit talking is fine, and so is having a bit of a laugh, but don’t be a dick. Sportsmanship is key, even when messing about.
No drama. No begging. No whining.
English. This is an English speaking clan, based primarily in North America.
No harassment towards members and non-members. If you’re not sure what qualifies as harassment, talk to one of the mods.
You have to wear the clan tags [CRKS] when playing multiplayer games.
There is no strict hierarchy or a complicated chain of command. There’s the Founders, the OGs and the CROOKS. You stick around long enough you become an OG.
Have fun. This is the most important rule. We are gamers. We play games to have fun and get away from the stress of our jobs and daily lives. Take it easy, enjoy yourself, make friends and dominate the server in the process.
